Destination Old Town

Following on from previous Programmes, we are pleased to bring our fifth destination ‘Destination Old Town', and welcome you to join us on the journey.

We have listened to your survey responses, and now begin to create projects and lasting improvements to the area. We are working alongside Halton Borough Council with the 'Reconnecting Runcorn' project, and working with other local partners to improve the area

Device Donation for 'Snap and Social' photography group

Thanks to our Destination Old Town initiative, and a donation of unused devices, a local photography group can welcome more people through its doors to snap and get social.

Halton Housing Supports Halton Young Carers' Teddy Bears Picnic Event

The event, held at the charity's Runcorn Office Carers’ Garden, brought together children from across the borough, who each brought their favourite teddy bear.

Despresso Club expands with evening sessions thanks to Halton Housing funding

As part of the Destination Old Town initiative, we’ve funded 16 weeks of evening sessions at SPACE in Runcorn for their ‘Despresso Club,’ a free drop-in for anyone feeling lonely, isolated, or in need of mental health support.
