Our Sheltered Schemes
We own and manage three sheltered schemes, Queens Close and Brunswick House in Runcorn and Quarry Court in Widnes, which are on available to over 55s, who meet certain qualifying conditions.
The accommodation available in our sheltered schemes includes flats and bungalows. Many of these properties have wet rooms and have been adapted to suit customers with a variety of different housing needs.

We offer a range of support services at our sheltered schemes offering you and your loved ones peace of mind.
Lifeline online
We will provide a community alarm and respond to any call-outs.
Cost: £4.65 per week
Lifeline plus
As well as responding to your alarm we will contact you monthly and visit you on a quarterly basis.
Cost: £6.81 per week
At home
As well as responding to your alarm we will contact you weekly over the phone and visit you monthly.
Cost: £10.06 per week
Sheltered
We will monitor your alarm, contact you three times a week and visit you at least twice a week.
Cost: £15.48 per week
As well as paying the above costs, the additional cost of the lifeline unit must be paid separately to Halton Borough Council, although you will receive Supporting People payments to help towards costs. If you receive housing benefit then you will be entitled to financial assistance.

Applying to live in a sheltered scheme
Homes within our sheltered schemes are allocated on age, medical need, Property Pool Plus banding, and demand. To apply to live in any of our properties you must have an active Property Pool Plus account. If you have trouble accessing the internet, our Neighbourhood Allocations Team can support you. The team will help you set up your account, assess your housing needs, and help you bid on suitable properties which match your requirements.
