Bookmark a website in Safari on iPhone

In the Safari app , you can bookmark a website, add a website to Favorites, or add a website icon to the Home Screen to easily revisit later.

Bookmark a favorite website

Touch and hold , then tap Add Bookmark.

You can add a website icon to your iPhone Home Screen for quick access.

1. While viewing the website, tap  in the menu bar.

2. Scroll down the list of options, then tap Add to Home Screen.

   If you don’t see Add to Home Screen, you can add it. Scroll down to the bottom of the list, tap Edit Actions, then tap  Add to Home Screen.

The icon appears only on the device where you add it.

How to add a website from Google Chrome to your home screen

• Open Google Chrome and go to the website.
• Tap the three vertical dots button at the top right corner of the screen.
• Select Add to Home screen. Note that if the website has an app in the Play Store, the Add to Home screen option will be replaced by Install app.
• Tap Add to transfer it to the home screen.

How to add a website from Samsung Internet to your home screen

If you’re using a Samsung device, your default browser may be the Samsung Internet Browser. There is a slight difference from Google Chrome, depending on the browser’s style.

• Go to the website on Samsung Internet.
• Tap the Hamburger icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. The menu options will appear.
• From the menu, select the Add page to button.
• Choose Home Screen.
• Then, tap Add to finish.

• Open your Android browser and go to the page that you want to bookmark.
• Tap "Menu" and wait for the menu to appear from the bottom of the screen. Select "Add Bookmark."
• Enter information about the website so that you'll remember it. While the browser automatically fills in the bookmark address, you need to add a title.
• Touch "Done."
• Launch the browser, touch "Menu," then tap "Bookmarks" to access your bookmarked page.
