We measure the value of our social impact through HACT, and produce a social impact statement annually. We strive to continually improve services and local facilities and are always looking for local organisations and groups to support or work with in partnership.

Everyone at Kingsway Boxing Club would like to say a huge thank you to Halton Housing for their generous donation to the club. The money was used to buy a variety of resources including new headguards and competition tracksuits and to print competition kits. This will allow us to continue to provide low cost boxing sessions for the children and young people of our local community in Halton contributing to their mental and physical wellbeing. In addition, the donation means we have kit and equipment to allow our members to represent the club and the town by boxing competitively. Thanks again from all the coaches and members at Kingsway Amateur Boxing Club.
We are delighted once again, to be in receipt of such generosity from Halton Housing. Our project to support Children & Young People whose families are affected by cancer has grown. As a result of this help, we are able to support more young people in dealing with the impact cancer has had on their lives and on their emotional wellbeing. We are very grateful to Halton Housing for this, and for all they do in our local community.
Nicola Donoghue, Operations Manager
A massive thank you to Halton Housing for providing much-needed funding. Our primary objective is to keep Widnes free from litter and help restore civic pride in our communities. The new funding from Halton Housing will allow us to expand our activities and carry out more litter picking and clean up events in the town.
Keiron Gordon, Founder
As a group, we were absolutely thrilled with the support we received from Halton Housing. This year's event has helped us to reach more people than ever in highlighting issues affecting women and also in raising sanitary donations to be distributed to local women in need.
Laura Bevan, Chair
PIP owes its success with young people’s education and training to the strong partnership with Halton Housing who have supported us and our young people since we began.

Funding for local groups
Does your group need a Helping Hand?
As the largest landlord in the borough we recognise that we have an active part to play in the wider community by helping to create new opportunities for individuals and groups, and contributing to the quality of local life.
Through our Helping Hands initiative we are able to provide community funding, materials and skills to projects which benefit the local community.
Giving back to our communities
As well as ensuring that our homes are safe and secure, we play an active part in our local community. As the largest landlord in borough, we recognise our responsibility. We work with local contractors, charities and social enterprises to ensure that our neighbourhoods are places to be proud of.
