Shared Ownership

Based on what you can afford, you buy a share in a home and pay a reduced rent on the rest. A housing association (in this instance Halton Housing) owns the share that you rent.

Open Door manages Halton Housing's Shared Ownership sales. The Open Door Team will work closely with you throughout your home buying journey. 

We currently have a waiting list for resales. Those on the waiting list will be offered the opportunity to purchase first. Please contact our Sales Teams to have your details added to the list.

Should nobody on the waiting list wish to purchase, resale of apartments will then be advertised on the Open Door website.
