Our Welfare Benefits and Money Advice Team recently supported a complex case of a couple we were looking to offer a tenancy to when one member had no recourse to public funds.  

We were able to clarify the rules around housing and benefits leading to an increase in Housing Benefit paid of £15per week making the difference between a sustainable and non-sustainable home.
