Warm hearted colleagues donate over 30 coats
Warm hearted colleagues at Halton Housing have donated over 30 coats which will be distributed across Halton later this month.
The coats have been given to Halton and St Helens Voluntary and Community Action who will be distributing them at their upcoming “Pick-A-Coat-Day”.
Marketing Manager, Karen Kelly was one of the colleagues who donated to the cause. She said:
“With the cost-of-living crisis hitting household incomes and making it harder than ever to keep warm this winter, I was only too happy to help this fantastic initiative. Donating my children’s outgrown coats, especially when there’s still so much life left in them, seemed such a simple yet important way I could make a difference and I’d encourage anyone to have a look in their wardrobe and pass on any coats that are no longer wanted or needed - it really could be the difference in helping someone this Winter.”
The days will take place across the borough on the dates and times below.

Friday 18th November - St. Marie’s Church, Lugsdale Road, 10-3pm
