We are working with a partner organisation called Warmfront Limited to carry out energy efficiency surveys of our homes. 

The surveys will be carried out from the outside of homes using Thermal Imaging cameras. These cameras can show where a property is losing heat through the walls, windows, doors, or through the roof. This information will help us identify homes that need insulation or other energy efficiency measures. 

The Warmfront Team has started to carry out the energy surveys in the borough and will continue to do so until the end of March 2022. You may see them in cars with the Warmfront logo (see images below) or walking along streets between 4pm – 8pm, as this is the time when most people are likely to have their heating turned on. 

Surveyors will NOT need to enter your home to do the thermal imaging survey.
