As part of our Spruce up Your Streets initiative, Emma Bennett, our Neighbourhood Officer for Upton organised a morning of litter picking.  

On the day, an impressive 14 bags of litter were collected by our team with the help of some local volunteers! 

We also worked with our partners from Halton Burrough Council to advise on areas for the street sweep to pay extra attention to and to clear issues with broken glass.  

This litter pick is the first step to seeing less litter in and around Upton.
