As part of Destination Old Town and Spruce Up Your Streets, we’re proud to have funded four planters and gardening equipment for Holy Trinity Church. The planters will be used to grow vegetables and herbs for the Tuesday Lunch Club, as well as flowers to brighten up the space and bring the community together.

We were delighted to be joined by seven pupils from All Saints Primary School’s Gardening Group, who got stuck in and helped bring the project to life.

Gardening is a great activity for young people because it teaches them patience, responsibility, and helps them connect with nature. This hands-on activity not only makes the area look amazing but also helps grow a generation of eco-heroes.
