Runcorn High Street independent living scheme reaches new heights
New images have been released showcasing the rapid progress at our latest independent living scheme on High Street, Runcorn.
The construction work, led by Legacie Developments, began in the spring and marks our fourth independent living scheme in the Borough.
So far, the concrete base has been laid, and a site crane has been installed as work begins on erecting the steel frame—progress has been excellent.
Earlier this week, the development was featured in a Liverpool Echo article titled "Look around you - we need change in this town". The Echo visited Runcorn to explore the ambitious new regeneration project, "Reconnecting Runcorn," of which the High Street scheme is a key part. The article featured Ria Griffiths, a development project manager overseeing the development for Halton Housing, who also gave a site tour to local MP Mike Amesbury.
High Street is set to welcome its first residents in spring 2026.
