With winter on the horizon, we are launching a series of events to support customers with guidance and advice on all aspects of home safety.

The last few years have seen major changes in the ways in which we live, work and use our homes. Many of us are now spending more time there than ever before as boundaries between home, work and leisure become merged. Although the home for most of us is the most familiar and comfortable place, more people are injured in accidents in their own home than anywhere else. Challenges to the cost of living only adds further uncertainty to the mix as we seek to heat, light, cook and live more economically.

We are inviting customers to come along to one of the dedicated home safety events where members Homes Team will be on hand to help customers with advice, guidance and information. Teams attending include:

• Electric
• Gas
• Asbestos
• Fire Safety
• Damp and Mould 

We will also be available to listen to any concerns and make appointments for a future visit.

The events are scheduled to take place across the borough later this year.
