As part of our commitment to helping vulnerable people get through winter, we’re proud to have provided much-needed help to local residents through our Keep Warm, Keep Well campaign.

The campaign, which is now in its third year, and delivered with support from partner organisations aims to support those who are most vulnerable, to have a warm home and provide support to make their budget go further.

The Keep Warm, Keep Well campaign included two events at Widnes Market and Grangeway Community Centre, Runcorn organised by our Social Impact and Customer Engagement team and supported by representatives from 11 of our partner organisations.

Through the events, teams were on hand to offer help and support to all those who attended and hand out over 35 keep warm packs which included a pair of gloves, hat, blanket and flask, plus reusable hand warmers and social supermarket vouchers. 

Thanks to Halton & St Helens Voluntary and Community Action 130 coats were also given out to local people in need, whilst a fantastic prize draw held at both events saw two happy customers each win a slow cooker.
