International Women's Day 2025: Celebrating the Women of Halton Housing

On Saturday 8th March it’s International Women's Day 2025 and we want to celebrate the incredible women who make up Halton Housing. With over 330 colleagues, we are proud to have many talented and dedicated women working together to help us deliver on our purpose of Improving People’s Lives.
Our female colleagues play a crucial role in everything we do, from customer-facing roles to leadership positions. Their diverse perspectives and expertise drive innovation and excellence, helping us to better serve our communities and achieve our goals.
We are proud to have women in some more traditionally male-dominated fields, from our Estates Services team to cyber security. Their presence in these fields is a testament to their skill, determination, and the supportive environment we aim to create.
50% of our Leadership Team are female, and over 60% of our external board members are women. When it comes to pay, our average (median) pay gap is in favour of women at 5%. This reflects our dedication to fair pay for all colleagues and highlights our commitment to gender equality and our belief that everyone deserves to be rewarded fairly for their hard work.
Tracy Fairclough, Head of HR, said: "At Halton Housing, we believe in creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Our commitment to inclusivity and equality is reflected in our positive pay gap and the opportunities we provide for all our colleagues to grow and succeed. I am proud to be part of an organisation that champions the empowerment of women and fosters a culture of respect and collaboration."
We are have an inclusive and supportive culture where everyone can thrive and we continue to support and invest in our female colleagues, ensuring they have the opportunities and resources they need to succeed.
One of our colleagues, Jess Lawson who last year successfully completed our personal development programme, Thrive and who has also recently secured an exciting new role shared her thoughts: "I am incredibly proud to work for Halton Housing, an inclusive organisation that truly values its colleagues. Here, we are provided with opportunities not just to do well but to thrive every day. It's inspiring to be part of a team that is committed to making a real difference"
Join us in celebrating the remarkable women of Halton Housing and their contributions. Together we can continue to build a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
Happy International Women's Day!
