ICT team retains cyber security plus accreditation
In recognition of our ongoing commitment to guard ourselves against common security threats, we’re delighted to share that our Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team has achieved the Cyber Essentials Plus certificate for a consecutive year – the highest level of certification awarded under the Cyber Essentials scheme.
The Cyber Essentials certification, awarded to companies who meet strict security standards, demonstrates that we have robust procedures and protections in place to reduce the threat of increasingly sophisticated attacks.
This accreditation is a Government-backed initiative and the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) who set a range of security controls that can protect organisations against the majority of common cyber-attacks.
Thanks to the hard work of our team, we again successfully achieved all the requirements of Cyber Essentials Plus. This forms a key part of our ongoing commitment to cyber security best practice and, with strengthened cyber security credentials, will provide peace of mind to our customers that we are serious about information security across all aspects of our business.
The certificate will place Halton Housing on the Government's website in the directory of organisations that hold Cyber Essentials.
