School uniform can be a significant expense for many families, with some parent surveys finding that the annual cost can reach more than £300 per child.

With the cost of food and fuel at record highs also, Halton Housing is funding a uniform scheme in partnership with Citizens Advice Halton. The scheme will provide support towards the cost of school uniforms for school-age children living in a Halton Housing property.
