Our Neighbourhoods team, in collaboration with police officers based in Widnes, successfully secured a closure order last week from Warrington Magistrates' Court for a property on Delamere Avenue, Widnes.

Evidence gathered through this partnership approach demonstrated to the Court that local residents had endured serious disturbances over several months. Despite efforts to engage with the resident, the issues persisted.

The closure order will remain in effect for three months. During this time, only the single tenant of the property is permitted to enter. Anyone found breaching this court order could face prosecution.

This action coincides with Anti-social Behaviour Awareness Week, a national initiative aimed at raising awareness of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and highlighting effective strategies for addressing it within our communities.
