A former plastering apprentice has come full circle, returning to Halton Housing 14 years after starting his career with us.

Michael McCann began his journey with us as an eager apprentice back in 2011. With a passion for learning and a dedication to excellence, he quickly made a name for himself. During his apprenticeship, Michael gained invaluable experience, working alongside seasoned professionals and honing his skills in various aspects of repairs and maintenance.

After completing his apprenticeship, Michael continued to build on the foundation he had established at Halton Housing. Over the next 12 years, he worked with a local organisation enabling him to expand his expertise and leadership skills.

Returning to us, Michael brings with him a wealth of experience and renewed passion for his trade.

Commenting on his return, Michael said: "Returning to Halton Housing feels like coming home. It’s where I built my foundations, and now I’m back with fresh experience and the same drive to do great work."

Michael’s story is a powerful reminder of the importance of investing in our people and fostering a culture of growth and development.

Welcome back, Michael!
